WHAT TO EXPECT
Message from our pastor
I want to personally welcome you to Blessed Hope Baptist Church! I hope you will find this as a place for family, fellowship and future. I would love for you to come and visit with us. Often times when folks are beginning to visit churches looking for a home, they may ask the question what should I expect? Blessed Hope Baptist Church is an independent Baptist Church. That means that we are not a part of any sort of convention or association. Our body is autonomous and self governing. Not only are we an independent Baptist church, but we are a fundamental Baptist church. We believe in the fundamentals of the faith; the Virgin birth of Christ, the death of Christ Jesus on the cross as our substitute, the bodily resurrection of Christ, the visible appearing of Jesus Christ to rapture the church out of this world before the tribulation, or the pre-tribulation rapture of the church, and the verbal inspiration of the scriptures. We believe the Bible is the word of God.
We use the King James version of the scripture, and have a traditional worship service.Dress at church is modest apparel. Men wear anything from a suit and tie to jeans and a button up, while women wear dresses to casual apparel. We ask that men and women alike wear modest apparel that would bring glory to the Lord.Our goal is to teach the word of God producing change in people's lives through the foundational truths given by Bible writers and revealed to us by the Holy Spirit.We have an array of young folks and young families. I believe with all my heart that the key to the growth of our church is in our youth group, and that our youth group is the Blessed Hope Baptist Church of tomorrow. We have many outings and get togethers for youth as well as classes for every age on Wednesday nights and Sunday mornings.We also have programs for young adults raising their families the Bible way. Senior adults will also find blessed Hope Baptist Church an encouraging place to be.Since it's inception in 2013, Blessed Hope Baptist Church has been incredibly blessed by the hand of God. The church has grown not only numerically, but spiritually. In the fall of 2021, after outgrowing the original building, Blessed Hope Baptist Church purchased a 17,000 square foot building. Our facility will seat 300 people, with a large fellowship hall / multi-purpose room, and have spacious classrooms and offices. If you are looking for a church that will love you and your family, and teach you the word of God, I believe Blessed Hope Baptist Church is the church for you! We are incredibly interested in the development of young people, while staying true to the Bible way of doing business.We would love for you to come visit and grow with us through the teaching and preaching of God's Word!
